BBQ Meatball snacks

A great little protein bite to put into the kids lunchboxes for school. Packed with veg and nothing but goodness. They have a sweet bbq taste without the sugar and nothing artificial!

Ingredients:

500g mince

1 large egg

1 carrot finely chopped

1 onion finely chopped

1Tbsp Tamari

1Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 Tbsp Maple Syrup

1/8 tsp chili powder

1Tbsp Smoked Paprika powder

1tsp Garlic powder

Salt & Pepper to taste

Method:

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until well mixed. Best done by hand.

Roll into bite size balls (makes about 24)

Line baking tray with parchment paper.

Place on parchment paper, bake in over at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.

At 15 minutes, turn the meatballs.
